Graduate Assistant, Collegiate Recovery Community

Jack Sykstus earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Troy University. In 2016 he graduated with his Master of Science degree in Human Environmental Sciences with a specialization in Interactive Technology at the University of Alabama. He will continue his education by pursuing his M.A. in Marriage in Family Therapy in Fall 2016.

Jack found his recovery in Atlanta, Georgia where he worked on several conferences for recovery fellowships. Since moving to Tuscaloosa, Alabama he has worked for the University of Alabama’s Collegiate Recovery Community as a graduate assistant. His work generally entails meeting with students, data management, policy and vision writing, software integration, and general upkeep of the facilities. Jack specializes in software and data management and has brought that perspective into the collegiate recovery community.
