Catch the replay of ARHE’s webinar last week: Creating Anti-Racist & Liberated CRPs.

This webinar is led by Keith Murphy from Rutgers University, and will focus on understanding systems of oppression within higher education and how structural racism informs our institutions and programs. The session will provide an opportunity to reflect on the impact of white supremacy and patriarchy in collegiate recovery and how a lack of representation creates an atmosphere that is hostile to student’s healing and growth. Participants will have an opportunity to reflect and explore how they can be agents of liberation within their communities.

Keith Murphy is a licensed professional counselor and licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor in New Jersey. He has over 14 years of experience in helping those who struggle with addiction and other major life issues rebuild their lives. In his present role as a Recovery Counselor, Keith has been tasked to help the students in the College Recovery Program develop skills for recovery and life in college and beyond. As a member of the Rutgers counseling staff, Keith has the privilege of seeing students flourish and become world-changers.
