Hello Members and Stakeholders of ARHE,

The Board of Directors for the Association of Recovery in Higher Education is saddened to announce the departure of our organization’s first Executive Director, Tim Rabolt. Tim has served the organization in many roles from 2014 to 2017, including Student Representative, Mid-Atlantic Representative, and Treasurer, all on the Board of Directors. It was during our National Conference in Houston, Texas that Tim was named Executive Director in July 2018.

Through Tim’s leadership, ARHE has led the country in supporting the growth of Collegiate Recovery, which now serves 148 Member schools. Tim’s largest contributions to ARHE has been through organizing and leading a dedicated team to host our National Recovery Conferences. This level of leadership shined most brightly during our 2020 National Conference which abruptly required a change of course due to the novel Coronavirus at the time. Tim’s ability to adapt, keep his cool, and usher us into a 100% virtual conference at a moment’s notice will be one of his finest moments, but certainly isn’t all that he has done for our organization and the field.

We, the Board of Directors of the Association of Recovery in Higher Education, on behalf of all of our membership wish Tim nothing but the best in his future endeavors. As a formal send-off, we invite you all to join us September 30, 2021 at 3:00 PM EST in the ARHE Common Room (meeting I.D. 895 6765 3899; Passcode: 905738) for you to share your well-wishes and fondest memories with Tim before his final day. General questions and comments may be addressed to Board of Directors Co-Chair, Jarmichael Harris at harrisja15@ecu.edu.

Thank you all for your continued support of the Association of Recovery in Higher Education!

Warm regards,

Jarmichael R. Harris, Co-Chair, Board of Directors
