Liliana Spurgeon is a bilingual Community Health Worker (CHW) and Peer Support Specialist, using her experience as a first-generation Latina and person in recovery to advocate for underrepresented voices in behavioral health. She currently serves as the Program Coordinator for the UNM Collegiate Recovery Center, the first of its kind in New Mexico.

Lily is also the Outreach and Marketing Director for the NM Peer Coalition and Soul Recovery CafĂ©, supporting individuals in recovery. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Spanish from UNM and will soon pursue a Master’s in Public Administration. Additionally, she serves on UNM’s CASAA Community Advisory Board.
