Santee Ezell
Southeast Region Representative
Santee Ezell, MS, PCED, CHES, CHWI, CPM, CNP (she/her) is the Director of the Office for Student Well-Being at Mississippi State University. In her role, she advises two student organizations: the award-winning Healthy Dawgs Peer Educators and the Aspiring Minorities in Health Professions student organization. Additionally, she serves as a Health Promotion & Freshmen Year Experience Instructor.
Santee Ezell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with minors in Community Health Sciences and Nonprofit Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi. She also completed a Master of Science in Community Development with an emphasis in Sustainability from Delta State University. Santee’s career as a Diabetes Educator ignited her passion for Public Health & Prevention, leading her to a career in Higher Education at Mississippi University for Women as a Program Manager. Since then, Santee has dedicated her career to substance use prevention, collegiate recovery, addiction professionals workforce development, and health promotion within the college setting.
For the past 8 years, she has been unwavering in her commitment to college students through prevention education, peer education, policy development, collegiate recovery, addiction professionals workforce development, and public health within the community and college setting.
Santee is a passionate advocate for students in recovery, working tirelessly to provide support and resources for students in long-term recovery. She believes in the importance of serving others and leaving a positive impact wherever you go.
