ARHE is excited to announce that Mack Park (they/them) will be promoted into the role of Membership and Outreach Manager. Mack will begin the position in September.
Mack has been a Fellow with ARHE since 2020 and has been involved in several projects with the organization. Mack is the program coordinator for the student recovery program at the University of Windsor, with first-hand experience managing CRPs. Mack is currently completing their Master of Social Work degree, and has a BA[H] in Psychology, with minors in Sociology and Information Technology. Mack also has an advanced diploma in Web Development and a certificate in Business Administration.
“There has been significant growth and change within the organization over the past few years, and I’ve been honored and privileged to work and grow alongside it. I have witnessed both an unparalleled collective support and an unwavering commitment from members who believe in ARHE and its mission to support developing programs. I am deeply grateful to have met and learned from so many talented and passionate professionals over the past few years, and I am committed to do everything that I can to help support the people, programs, and partner organizations of ARHE to continue doing this important work – both nationally and internationally!” – Mack Park
“As Executive Director, I am thrilled to announce this to our membership and beyond. There is always something so exciting about watching a student grow professionally and I have been honored to get to work with Mack for the past three years and get to witness just this. Mack’s experience with ARHE brings so much to this position and the transition comes at a critical time for the organization. While most folks will know Mack’s connection to the Annual Conference, what they may not know is Mack’s involvement in so many other aspects: continued development toward the accreditation pilot, Salesforce development to improve our back office systems, tech support, and so much more. Their role has been deeply important over these past three years and I can’t wait to see where we go from here as a team and as an organization!” – Kristina Canfield
The Membership & Outreach Manager has lead responsibility for membership growth and certain services that are field-facing: different offerings that intersect directly with the collegiate recovery profession. Examples include working internally with our Advisory Council, overseeing all aspects of ARHE Membership (benefits, engagement, support, etc.), and general communications with our collegiate recovery stakeholders throughout the country and across the globe, as well as assisting with programming, events, and ongoing projects.
Mack will officially begin their position on Monday, September 1. They can be reached at [email protected].
