This month we had Susie Mullens provide an overview of the FREE training that the West Virginia Collegiate Recovery Network (WVCRN) has posted entitled Xylazine Awareness and Safety. Enroll for free and be more prepared to support students as we see an increased prevalence of Xylazine (or “tranq”) in the drug supply. While you’re at it, check out their Fentanyl Awareness resources as well!
This presentation was followed by a short discussion, facilitated by Stephanie Lake, about CRP planning over the summer as we round out this series of Harm Reduction chats. The ARHE Harm Reduction Discussion Group typically meets the second Thursday of every month at 12pm ET / 11am CT / 10am MT / 9am PT but will be taking a break over the summer. Be sure to join us again in September!
