Ayesha will give an overview of current structure utilized by her CRP in providing direct services to students who do not practice abstinence, including those students in the community, and provide a timeline of how this structure was developed. Scenarios will be discussed that may be helpful to other collegiate recovery professionals who are seeking to develop programming which encompasses a broader umbrella of recovery pathways and definitions for their students.
Staff Chats take place on Tuesdays at 12pm ET and explore new topics each week!
This programming was made possible by the Center for Addiction Recovery Support (CARS), a national SAMHSA-funded initiative dedicated to advancing recovery support nationwide. CARS provides training, technical assistance, and innovative resources for individuals, organizations, and institutions supporting recovery.
As a partner organization, the Association of Recovery in Higher Education (ARHE) partners with CARS to expand technical assistance, best practices, and institutional guidance for collegiate recovery programs (CRPs). Together, we are equipping higher education institutions with the tools and expertise needed to build, sustain, and grow recovery-supportive environments on their campuses.
