Friday – Celebrating the Future – To the Next 15 Years of Collective Growth

Today is the last day of Collegiate Recovery Week! You can still check out our Collegiate Recovery Week webpage to see what’s going on today and look back on how we celebrated the week. Thank you for celebrating Collegiate Recovery Week 2025!

Today’s theme is “Branching Into the Future and Reaching New Heights”

Looking ahead to the future of collegiate recovery, focusing on advocacy, accessibility, professional development, and expanding recovery support for all students.

As CRPs continue to grow and evolve, it’s important to look ahead and advocate for greater access and institutional support. This day focuses on future-forward initiatives, including professional development, policy advancements, and expanding recovery services to reach more students.

Together, we can reach new heights and grow larger than we ever imagined.

As we close out Collegiate Recovery Week 2025, we celebrate how far we’ve come. With over 180 CRPs and thousands of students supported, the collegiate recovery movement is no longer a whisper—it’s a vibrant ecosystem that continues to get stronger each year.

Our growth has been rooted in support, but our branches now reach both nationally and globally. We’ve seen CRPs change lives, shape careers, and create lifelong connections. Today is about celebrating the community we’ve built—and the future we’re still writing together.

💜 How to Get Involved Today:

  • Post a “then & now” photo of your CRP.
  • Reflect on what recovery means to you today.
  • Join us in envisioning what the next 15 years can look like.

Together, we’ve grown something beautiful. And we’re just getting started.

Join us for our final virtual event this week – open to everyone! These are great events to involve your students and come together in celebration of collegiate recovery!

As we close out Collegiate Recovery Week 2025, we’re not just reflecting—we’re looking forward. Today, we’re excited to launch the ARHE Biennial Collegiate Recovery Program Survey for 2025, which allows us to gather vital data to advocate for increased support across institutions, states/provinces, and at the federal level.

You can access the survey at the following link: https://collegiaterecovery.org/arhe-collegiate-recovery-program-survey/

The data we collect informs:

  • ARHE’s national advocacy efforts at the federal level, when advocating for state / provincial expansion, and even with individual institutions
  • Resource development, toolkits, and supportive materials
  • Strategic planning and organizational priorities
  • Training and technical assistance (TTA) initiatives
  • Gaps in research which can be prioritized to further advance our understanding
  • Public understanding of who CRPs serve and how they make a difference

We will continue to collect data until September 2025, but encourage programs to fill it out as early as possible to add to the overall longitudinal data that informs what we do.

Don’t forget to download our social toolkit – you can download our pre-designed graphics and copy/paste the corresponding text to save you time when posting to social media and spreading the word about collegiate recovery week!
