CRP Description

The Donovan Program hosts two weekly recovery support meetings, the Early Recovery Group, our abstinence-based group, and Skills for Harm Reduction, our psychoeducational space for students who are recovering from any addiction and at any stage of substance use or recovery. The program also maintains a 17 bed substance-free thematic community and the university has additional dorm-style substance-free housing. Additionally, we host trainings, panel discussions, and social events as well as collaborate with campus partners to provide recovery-inclusive support for students and naloxone trainings. The dean for recovery is available to discuss any student's substance use, discuss recovery goals, provide referrals to other on- and off- campus supports, and serves as the advisor to SoBear, the substance-free activity club which hosts weekly social programming for students who choose to remain substance-free that day.
