CRP Description

The Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC) at IU Indianapolis began on October 9, 2014 as the first college or university addiction recovery program in Indiana. The program, which started as a student organization, is now comprised of a suite of services from the Office of Health and Wellness Promotion in the Division of Student Affairs. The CRC creates a supportive community that promotes academic success, retention, and adherence to recovery goals through a combination of direct services, social support, and referrals. Programs include weekly on-campus support meetings, free sober social outings, a member only campus lounge, recovery scholarship opportunities, a member messaging app, and volunteer opportunities for recruitment and stigma reduction campaigns.
