Recovery Program Name
Lancers Recover at the University of Windsor
Year Established
2020
CRP Description

Lancers Recover regularly partners with on-campus and community services to provide an array of services, programming, and referrals. The program is not membership-based, and all students are welcome to attend. Lancers Recover has partial funding (covering one part-time staff and two student staff positions, and an annual ARHE membership). Lancers Recover was the first student recovery program to be established in Ontario and has been developing to increase it's service offerings each year. While Lancers Recover does not offer recovery housing, a local institution in Windsor has recently opened one of the first sober post-secondary residence buildings in the country, only 10 minutes from campus.
