This is a recording of last week’s webinar: Providing Telehealth Recovery Support During COVID – 19.
As the world is calibrating itself to the current COVID – 19 pandemic where many are being asked to stay at home and/or social distance from one another, providing health care services including Peer Coaching and Support is undergoing a change in how these services are able to be delivered. ARHE in partnership with MAP Health Management is proud to host this webinar on Providing Telehealth Support. From its inception in 2011, MAP has delivered support services telephonically and via telehealth. As the delivery of telehealth services is becoming more widely acceptable MAP is being asked to support others in the “do’s and dont’s” of delivering Peer Services via telehealth.
MAP’s mission has been to improve outcomes for the millions of people annually diagnosed and treated for the chronic disease of addiction, formally referred to as Substance Use Disorder. MAP delivers a much-needed long-term support model by deploying a proprietary approach to engagement, peer recovery support services and outcomes reporting – all designed to improve health outcomes for individuals and families, as well as reduce preventable healthcare cost. This webinar will focus on best practices for providing digital recovery support services for individuals in recovery from substance use disorders. Presenters will include TJ Howard and Jodi Sneed from MAP Health Management. After the presentation, there will be time for participant question and answer.
