Understanding the needs of students in recovery is essential for building effective, sustainable collegiate recovery programs. A well-designed needs assessment can help programs identify service gaps, engage campus stakeholders, and make data-informed decisions about program development, funding, and advocacy. This facilitated and interactive conversation will explore the needs assessments you’ve done, provide some suggestions and ideas for future data collection, and provide some tools and templates to think through designing needs assessments.
