About the Program

The Clemson University Recovery Program, known as Clemson All in Recovery, was established in Clemson, South Carolina. We are located within the Division of Student Affairs, and more specifically under Healthy Campus, which supports us in our foundation and message that recovery is a model of holistic wellness and health promotion. We currently hold offices in the Fike Recreation Center and group space within Brackett Hall. The group is supported by a full-time associate director serving as an advisor, a full-time staff member from Clemson’s Counseling and Psychological Services, and a part-time graduate assistant. Our program is considered small in size, with members who participate in recovery protective programming and are well-supported by the campus. Clemson All in Recovery offers weekly meetings, social activities, and one to two seminars each semester. While also working to expand engagement and leadership opportunities for our students. Participation is open to all students, including those in recovery, allies of recovery, and individuals affected by addiction, with no strict requirements for involvement. Our students are strong advocates for service and breaking the stigma surrounding addiction and recovery. Newcomers are always welcome to join events and programs, with specific opportunities designed to support students new to the recovery journey.

Become a member of arhe!

The Association of Recovery in Higher Education (ARHE) is the only association exclusively representing collegiate recovery programs (CRPs) and collegiate recovery communities (CRCs), the faculty and staff who support them, and the students who represent them. ARHE provides the education, resources, and community connection needed to help change the trajectory of recovering student’s lives. We are a network of professionals, administrators, faculty, staff, students, parents and policy makers.

A Collegiate Recovery Program (CRP) is a college or university-provided program that includes a supportive environment within the campus culture. CRPs reinforce the decision to engage in a lifestyle of recovery from addiction/substance use disorder. It is designed to provide an educational opportunity alongside recovery supports to ensure that students do not have to sacrifice one for the other.

The ARHE website is under construction as we launch a new membership portal. Please inform mack@collegiaterecovery.org if you experience technical difficulties or need support.
