About the Program

The CRC at the University of Denver is a community for students who are in recovery from substance use disorders. The CRC supports students through creating a campus-based infrastructure to empower recovering students by providing support, preventing relapse, and promoting academic performance. The CRC offers a community lounge, alcohol and drug free social events, sober housing options, support meetings, peer mentoring, and educational seminars and events. The CRC is a supportive environment within the campus culture that reinforces the decision to pursue sobriety. It is designed to provide academic excellence alongside recovery support to ensure that students do not have to sacrifice one for the other.
